Measuring Made Easy

No cloth tape To measure? No problem!
Here's how to get your perfect fit
using a string and a ruler.
1) Grab Your String: Grab a non-stretchy string, ribbon or even a phone charger cable.

2) Wrap & Mark: Wrap the string all the way around the area you want to measure (bust, waist, hip) *see below. Make sure it's snug but not tight, mark where the string meets the starting point.
3) Measure it up: lay the marked string flat against a ruler or yardstick and add up the inches.

That's it!

*Curious Where to Measure/Wrap the string? We got you!

Bust: Wrap the string around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level all the way around yourself. Snug, not tight.

Waist: Find your natural waist. This is usually the narrowest part of your torso, just above the belly button. Wrap the string all the way around yourself, snug, not tight.

Hips: Wrap the string around the fullest part of your hips and rear, typically 7-9 inches below your natural waist. Make sure it wraps around the widest part of your backside, snug, not tight.

Dress Length: To figure out where a dress will fall on you, stand up straight and measure from the top of your shoulder, straight down your front to where you want the bottom of the dress to end.
