Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges for Rentals

Given the short-term rental nature of our dresses (typically 1-7 days), our refund and exchange policy is designed to ensure fair use and availability for all customers.

• No Refunds on Rentals: All rental orders are considered final once placed and are non-refundable. We do not offer cash refunds, credit card refunds, or any form of monetary refund for rental fees, including but not limited to cases where the rental is returned early, not used, or due to customer dissatisfaction with fit or style (unless a valid exchange is processed as outlined below).

• Easy Exchanges for Store Credit: We understand that sometimes a rental might not be the perfect fit or style. We offer easy exchanges for store credit only, subject to the following conditions:

  • Unworn Condition: The dress must be returned in its original, unworn, and undamaged condition, with all tags and security seals intact. Any signs of wear, alteration, or damage will void the exchange offer.

  • Exchange Window: You must initiate the exchange process within 8 hours of receiving the dress.

  • Initiating an Exchange: To request an exchange, please contact our customer service at BadTasteboutique@yahoo.com within the specified window. We will provide instructions for returning the item.

  • Store Credit: Upon successful inspection of the returned item, we will issue you store credit equal to the rental fee paid for the dress. This store credit can be used towards a future rental from Bad Taste Boutique. Store credit is non-transferable and does not expire.

  • Shipping Costs for Exchanges: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the original rental for an exchange and for shipping the new rental selection.

• Defective or Damaged Upon Receipt: If you receive a dress that is significantly defective or damaged prior to your use, you must notify us immediately upon receipt (within 4 hours) with photographic evidence. We will then assess the situation and, at our discretion, may offer an alternative rental, store credit, or a partial refund.

• Rental Dresses are in rotation and some slight wear and tear is expected. Our dresses our professional cleaned and Inspected before and after each rental. Excellent and Good Conditions are acceptable for rentals.
